Little Wing Relief is shipping to Ukraine and seeking supplies and donations

When disaster strikes, humanitarian groups and individuals step up to answer the call for help. Despite governmental support, additional assistance is critical for populations experiencing crisis. More than ever before, conflict affected populations rely on assistance from humanitarians to survive. Humanitarian groups and individuals rely on support from donors in order to provide desperately needed assistance to the country in need.

The UN now reports 50,597 Civilian Casualties in Ukraine

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) verified as of Nov. 2025

14,116 civilians killed
36,481 civilians injured

Child Casualties: These figures include at least 733 children killed and 2,285 injured.

Underestimation Note: The OHCHR maintains that the actual numbers are likely significantly higher, as verification remains difficult in many areas, particularly those under Russian occupation.

The office of Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reports as a result of the shelling, bombing and airstrikes by the Russians:

Destroyed or Damaged
- 80-90 million square meters of housing
- 1856 hospitals and health facilities
- 1,900 schools
- 704 religious sites
- 26,000 kilometers of roads
- 350 bridges
- 15 of 20 civilian airports

You might ask
WHAT CAN I DO?

       - Go to the store and fill up a bag or two with everyday items from the Revised Needs List.
       - Clean out the medicine chest/cabinet. Bring in new unused medicines, salves, hygiene items, etc.
       - Go through the garage or basement and dig out any good used hand tools, shovels, implements, etc.
       - Buy a case of canned protein (e.g. meat or fish) or just one can!
       - Collect medical supplies e.g. tactical tourniquets (critical need), rolled gauze, bandages, dressings.
       - Purchase one box or many boxes of hand warmers and foot warmers such as "Hot Hands" brand.
       - Donate used military and law enforcement gear (e.g. body armor, helmets, vests, etc.)
       - Write a check to us, Little Wing Relief.
